Demi Chef de Partie – Pastry & Bakery

About the role

We are looking for a talented Demi Chef de Partie (DCDP) to join our pastry and bakery team. You will work closely with the Pastry Chef and Sous Chef to produce high‑quality baked goods in a fast‑paced kitchen environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and produce a variety of pastries, cakes, desserts, breads and bakery items following approved recipes.
• Assist the Pastry Chef and Sous Chef with daily kitchen operations.
• Maintain consistency in product quality, presentation and portion control.
• Monitor stock levels, report inventory needs and ensure proper storage and labeling of ingredients.
• Uphold cleanliness, hygiene and food‑safety standards in line with HACCP guidelines.
• Support new product development and seasonal menu offerings.
• Train and guide junior kitchen staff as required.
• Contribute to waste reduction and cost‑control initiatives.

Required profile

• Diploma or certification in Culinary Arts, Pastry, Bakery or a related field.
• 2–4 years of hands‑on experience in pastry and bakery production.
• Strong knowledge of baking techniques, pastry preparation and dessert production.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet production deadlines.
• Good organizational and time‑management skills.
• Team‑oriented attitude with a solid work ethic.
• Understanding of food safety and hygiene standards.
