Drilling Sales Manager – Business Development Lead

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Sales Manager / Business Development Manager to lead the growth of our drilling services business unit in Muscat, Oman. The role combines strategic sales leadership with hands‑on commercial management of drilling rigs, equipment and related services.

Key responsibilities

• Drive new sales opportunities and expand existing client relationships within the oil & gas sector.
• Develop and execute business development plans to increase market share for drilling rigs, drill pipes and maintenance services.
• Manage the full sales cycle, from lead generation to contract negotiation and closure.
• Collaborate with technical and operations teams to ensure service delivery meets client expectations.
• Monitor and improve profitability, cash flow and P&L performance of the drilling division.
• Oversee rig maintenance, inspection (CAT III) and refurbishment (CAT IV) projects.

Required profile

• 15‑20 years of total professional experience, with a strong background in the drilling industry.
• Proven track record in sales, account management or business development for drilling services.
• Hands‑on experience with drilling rigs, equipment, drill pipes and related technical services.
• Exposure to on‑shore and/or off‑shore drilling operations, preferably in the Middle East.
• Commercially minded with solid understanding of cash‑flow management and P&L responsibility.
• Excellent client‑facing, relationship‑building and leadership abilities.
