Modern Trade Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic Modern Trade Specialist to join our team in Muscat. You will work onsite, driving growth and development of Modern Trade sales across the Oman market.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and grow Modern Trade sales across Oman by building and maintaining strong relationships with key retail accounts.
• Drive new product listings, range expansion, promotions, and in‑store visibility in hypermarkets, supermarkets, and large retail chains.
• Develop and execute account‑wise business plans to meet sales, revenue, and profitability targets.
• Negotiate commercial terms, pricing, promotions, and visibility with key accounts.
• Monitor sales performance, margins, distribution, and market execution regularly.

Required profile

• Proven experience in Modern Trade and Key Account Management within FMCG or related industry.
• Experience with fresh/perishable FMCG products such as chicken, meat, milk, dairy, or chilled foods.
• Strong track record managing hypermarkets, supermarkets, and large retail chains.
• Hands‑on experience negotiating listings, pricing, promotions, visibility, and commercial terms.
• Ability to achieve sales, revenue, and profitability targets.
• Strong understanding of the Oman retail/FMCG market and key retail customers.
