Electrical Engineer – Maintenance Management

About the role

The Electrical Engineer will work under the Maintenance Manager to plan, execute and oversee all maintenance activities for plant equipment, including monthly and annual outages and overhauls. The role ensures reliable operation, safety compliance and continuous improvement of the electrical systems.

Key responsibilities

• Execute work orders through the CMMS (SAP) and coordinate with maintenance engineers for technical completion.
• Prepare and manage spare parts and consumables inventory to meet maintenance needs.
• Conduct Environmental Aspect‑Impact and Hazard Risk Assessments and keep them up to date.
• Implement, monitor and report Integrated Management System (IMS) objectives, targets and corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with legal, contractual and organisational safety and environmental requirements.
• Prepare and control the section budget and monitor maintenance‑related costs.
• Generate purchase requisitions for strategic spares while respecting budget constraints.
• Troubleshoot electrical equipment, lead the maintenance team in root‑cause analysis and implement preventive actions.
• Perform routine, corrective and preventive maintenance on electrical plant equipment.
• Identify competency gaps within the team and support people development.

Required profile

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or related technical field.
• Proven experience in industrial plant electrical maintenance.
• Familiarity with CMMS (SAP) and Integrated Management Systems.
• Strong understanding of HSSE regulations and environmental risk assessments.
• Experience in budgeting, material management and spare‑parts planning.
• Ability to lead a maintenance team and drive continuous improvement.
