About the role
Amana‑Evershine is looking for qualified EMT Instructors to join the faculty of its healthcare workforce education programmes in Oman. In this role you will guide students from knowledge acquisition to practical application, ensuring clinical accuracy, patient safety and professional readiness.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver the assigned EMT curriculum through lectures, skills labs, simulation and applied learning.
- Facilitate small‑group skills instruction (typically 10–15 students per session).
- Assess student knowledge before progression to skills training.
- Teach and reinforce clinical reasoning, communication, professionalism and patient safety.
- Demonstrate and evaluate clinical skills when qualified and authorized.
- Facilitate scenario‑based learning and simulation exercises.
- Observe student performance, provide structured feedback and remediate learning gaps.
- Administer written, practical and competency‑based assessments and accurately document performance.
- Maintain curriculum fidelity and adhere to EMT scope‑of‑practice boundaries.
- Participate in faculty calibration, continuing education and quality‑improvement activities.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary faculty to support student success.
Required profile
- Master’s degree or higher from a recognized institution.
- Professional or educational background relevant to healthcare education (EMS, emergency medicine, nursing, pharmacy, medical education, allied health, psychology, social work, education, or related).
- Experience in education, clinical education, professional training, coaching or adult learning.
- Coursework or demonstrated preparation in psychology, behavioral science, educational psychology, social work, learning science, or a related field.
- Strong communication, facilitation, coaching and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively with culturally and professionally diverse learners and faculty.
- Appropriate professional credentials or clinical qualifications for any clinical content assigned.
- Successful completion of the Amana‑Evershine Train‑the‑Trainer Program with a minimum 85% competency score.
