Energy Management System Specialist

About the role

We are looking for an Energy Management System (EnMS) specialist to support the implementation, governance and continuous improvement of our ISO 50001‑based energy management framework. The role will work closely with asset teams, metering, sustainability and corporate functions to ensure accurate data, effective reporting and delivery of energy performance targets.

Key responsibilities

• Operate the EnMS in line with ISO 50001:2018, coordinating management reviews, internal and external audits and maintaining documentation.
• Plan and facilitate EnMS team meetings, prepare agendas, minutes and track actions.
• Produce periodic performance reports, dashboards and executive briefs using tools such as Power BI.
• Maintain energy review registers, EnBs, EnPIs, EDCP and scorecards; ensure data accuracy and traceability.
• Identify, prioritize and monitor short‑, medium‑ and long‑term energy improvement initiatives and the Five‑Year Energy Performance Improvement Plan.
• Support internal audits, NCR closure and surveillance/re‑certification audits.
• Lead awareness campaigns, policy roll‑out and training programmes for EnMS competence.

Required profile

• Degree in Engineering, Energy or a related discipline.
• Strong practical knowledge of ISO 50001:2018 (Lead Auditor preferred or attainable within six months).
• Experience in energy management, operations or technical services, preferably in oil & gas.
• Excellent coordination, data analysis and reporting abilities.
