About the role

Maxit Advertising LLC is seeking experienced engineering lecturers to join its academic team in Muscat. The role involves delivering high‑quality instruction across a range of engineering specialties and supporting student development.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver innovative teaching methods to help students reach their full potential.
• Research and develop teaching materials and pedagogy for assigned engineering subjects.
• Supervise and counsel students on theoretical and practical activities, including project work.
• Prepare examination papers, conduct assessments, and record results in compliance with college regulations.
• Maintain systematic records of student attendance, results, and activities.
• Provide academic counseling and career advice.
• Oversee on‑the‑job training, liaise with industry supervisors, and report on student progress.
• Prepare semester activity reports and suggest improvements.
• Perform any additional tasks assigned by department heads.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of teaching experience after obtaining a Master’s degree in the relevant engineering discipline.
• Age not exceeding 58 years.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., BBA/BBM) and Master’s degree (e.g., MBA) obtained through full‑time or part‑time study, not distance learning.
• Experience guiding student projects and conducting practical classes.
• Industrial experience is an advantage.
