About the role
New Alfa International is seeking experienced Equipment Operators to join its port and container terminal team in Muscat, Oman. The position focuses on safe operation of terminal machinery, supporting container handling, and ensuring smooth, efficient terminal performance.
Key responsibilities
- Operate a range of terminal equipment, including cranes and forklifts, in compliance with safety standards.
- Assist with loading, unloading and movement of containers across the terminal.
- Monitor equipment performance and report any issues to maintenance.
- Maintain productivity targets while adhering to HSE procedures.
- Collaborate with terminal staff to optimise workflow and minimise delays.
Required profile
- 5–10 years of experience in port or terminal operations.
- Proven heavy‑equipment operating background.
- Strong knowledge of terminal procedures and equipment safety.
- Good command of English; GCC experience preferred.
- Ability to follow HSE requirements and productivity controls.
