About the role
We are seeking an experienced ESB Developer to join a leading banking client in Oman. The role focuses on designing, developing, and supporting integration solutions using IBM middleware technologies within a banking environment.
Key responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain complex integration services and APIs using IBM App Connect Enterprise (formerly IBM Integration Bus), IBM MQ, IBM DataPower, and IBM API Connect.
- Provide technical support for integration projects, including configuration fixes, code fixes, end‑to‑end testing, user acceptance testing, performance, and security testing.
- Monitor supported systems, operate utilities for data implementations, and ensure system health through maintenance and emergency response.
- Resolve production incidents, conduct root‑cause analysis, and follow escalation procedures to meet resolution targets.
- Adhere to team standards for project delivery, peer review, security, incident, and problem management.
- Implement and manage security processes to comply with bank and data‑privacy policies.
Required profile
- Minimum 8 years of experience in design, development, and support of IT software solutions.
- At least 6 years of hands‑on experience with IBM integration products.
- Banking domain experience is preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with a focus on delivering high‑quality integration services.
