Executive Director – Head of GTx, Oman

About the role

The Executive Director – Head of GTx Oman will lead the execution of the GTx strategy for FAB in Oman. Based in Muscat, you will work closely with the FAB CEO and coverage teams to develop and grow trade and cash business across local and inbound/outbound clients.

Key responsibilities

• Engage with clients together with the coverage team to build GTx business and achieve revenue targets.
• Structure, execute and implement innovative GTx solutions that meet customer needs.
• Provide technical expertise to relationship managers and lead the design of bespoke GTx transactions.
• Collaborate with Cash Management and Trade Finance product teams in the UAE to finalise documentation, launch new products and policies.
• Gather market and competitor feedback to enhance FAB’s product offering in Oman.
• Partner with coverage teams to develop client account plans, credit proposals and maximise market share.
• Ensure timely execution of transactions while coordinating with Compliance, Finance, Operations and Implementation teams.
• Identify and manage fraud, regulatory and compliance risks, and drive continuous improvement of products and processes.

Required profile

• Strong drive for GTx sales and deep understanding of GTx products.
• Proven ability to deliver revenue targets within defined risk parameters.
• Excellent stakeholder management and relationship‑building skills.
• Experience working with coverage, cash management and trade finance teams.
• Ability to identify and mitigate transactional risks efficiently.
