Executive Managing Officer for Utility‑Scale Solar Project

About the role

The Executive Managing Officer (EMO) will lead the Ibri 2 PV independent power project, overseeing construction, operations, and corporate governance to ensure contractual, regulatory and reporting obligations are met.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor EPC and Owners Engineer performance, manage construction schedule, quality and cost control.
• Oversee O&M contractor performance, maintain spare‑parts inventory and drive operational optimisation.
• Ensure compliance with health & safety, environmental mitigation plans and all project contracts (PPA, EPC, O&M, etc.).
• Represent the company to government, regulators and stakeholders and keep the Board fully informed.
• Manage fiscal affairs, financing arrangements and capital structure of the corporation.

Required profile

• B.Sc. in Mechanical, Chemical or Electrical Engineering plus a degree in Business Management.
• Minimum 15 years of senior‑level management experience in power‑plant industries, including at least 5 years in a senior role.
• Proven track record of planning, developing and implementing sustainable, profitable business plans.
• Extensive experience in organizational management, board and government relations, HSSE, finance and marketing.
