Experienced Barista

About the role

A reputed cafe in Oman is hiring experienced baristas. The ideal candidate has excellent coffee-making skills, strong customer service experience and can work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare coffee, espresso and other hot and cold beverages to high quality standards, keeping taste, presentation and quality consistent.
• Provide friendly and professional customer service.
• Operate the cash register and handle cashiering accurately.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the coffee station and work area, following food safety and hygiene standards.
• Manage customer orders efficiently during busy hours.
• Maintain stock levels and report inventory requirements.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a barista in a cafe, restaurant or coffee shop.
• Age 23-40 years.
• Professional, reliable and trustworthy.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of coffee preparation techniques and beverage recipes.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Basic cashiering and accounting knowledge.
• Ability to prepare beverages quickly without compromising quality.
