Field Operator I

About the role

Enerflex Ltd is hiring a Field Operator I in Muscat. The role supports the safe and efficient operation of the plant to help meet production targets, performing routine operational tasks under supervision while keeping safety and procedural standards in place.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in operating and monitoring process equipment in line with safety standards
• Monitor and record equipment parameters in the field and report abnormalities to the Control Room Operator or supervisors
• Support system start-ups and shutdowns as directed by the supervisor
• Help pressurize and depressurize equipment and pipelines when required
• Check pressure, delta pressure, temperature and level gauges regularly and report irregularities
• Follow instructions from the Control Room Operator or supervisors to keep plant operations stable and support production optimization
• Follow QHSE standards such as LOTO, PTW, TBT and JHA, and document tasks properly
• Take part in training and procedure reviews, and carry out basic operational and maintenance checks under supervision
• Help prepare equipment for maintenance, including isolation, draining and decontamination
• Hand over information accurately and on time to the next shift
• Report unsafe conditions to supervisors and safely handle and top up chemicals, lubricants and coolants, collecting samples as directed
• Maintain housekeeping standards and comply with Emergency Response Team roles and company policies
