Field Professional – Well Site Service (Level I)

About the role

Halliburton’s Baroid division is seeking a Field Professional (Level I) to provide on‑site well service to customers in Oman. You will apply advanced fluid‑technology knowledge to support drilling operations, optimise wellbore performance and ensure safe, efficient service delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver well‑site fluid services under broad direction, including routine and specialized testing.
• Perform colloidal and general chemistry analyses, volume and hydraulics calculations.
• Guide and train Field Service Representatives on Baroid products, drilling‑fluid technology and rig operations.
• Track material usage, maintain inventory records and support billing processes.
• Collaborate with operator representatives and rig personnel to plan and optimise drilling operations.
• Assist technical and operations staff in well planning, business delivery and lessons‑learned reviews.
• Mentor junior field staff and ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental regulations.

Required profile

• High school diploma (minimum); undergraduate degree in any discipline preferred.
• Completed Halliburton mud training and passed the required math test.
• At least 5 years of experience in fluid services within the oil‑and‑gas industry.
