Finance Manager (EMDAD)

About the role

The Finance Manager will oversee all accounting services, ensuring accurate processing of payables, receivables, and financial statements in line with company policies and regulatory requirements. This role is responsible for supervising the full accounting cycle, from transaction entry to reporting and audit support.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise standard accounting functions, including statement review, ledger reconciliation, and compliance with company procedures.
• Manage the processing of all accounting transactions, maintaining books, registers, and files to meet legal and managerial standards.
• Oversee payroll payments, ensuring alignment with HR policies and proper documentation.
• Monitor accounts receivable and payable, ensuring timely collections, accurate write‑offs, and adherence to contractual terms.
• Control high‑value invoice approvals, vendor payments, and expenditure processes to stay within budget guidelines.
• Maintain fixed‑asset records, depreciation schedules, and provide guidance on capitalization versus expensing.
• Prepare tax filings and declarations, submitting them to the Ministry of Finance.
• Facilitate internal and external audits by providing accurate documentation and access as directed by the Head of Finance.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of accounting standards, financial reporting, and audit procedures.
• Experience supervising accounting teams and managing end‑to‑end finance processes.
• Attention to detail with a focus on compliance and accuracy.
