Financial Director – Group Finance Lead

About the role

Al Buraimi Educational Services SAOC is looking for an experienced Group Finance Director to shape the financial strategy, governance and performance of its group of entities, including the University of Buraimi and Mdadd Training Academy.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement the group’s financial strategy, budgeting, forecasting and treasury policies.
• Oversee financial planning, performance management and reporting across all subsidiaries and future ventures.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS, corporate governance, risk management and internal control frameworks.
• Lead interactions with the Board of Directors, Audit Committee, banks, investors and regulatory bodies.
• Manage corporate finance activities such as investments, financing and cash management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field.
• Professional qualification (CPA, ACCA, CFA, CMA or equivalent) preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of progressive finance experience, including at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
• Fluency in Arabic and English.
