Freelance AI, FinTech & RegTech Trainer

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Freelance Trainer to deliver programmes on Artificial Intelligence, Financial Technology and Regulatory Technology across the GCC region. The role involves engaging diverse audiences—from banking professionals to regulatory staff—through both in‑person and virtual sessions.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver training sessions on AI, FinTech and RegTech topics in classroom and online environments.
• Adapt content, pacing and delivery style to match the background and experience of each audience.
• Facilitate workshops, discussions and hands‑on exercises that link concepts to real financial‑services scenarios.
• Assess participant progress with knowledge checks and provide constructive feedback.
• Share post‑session observations with the program team to continuously improve content and delivery.
• Stay up‑to‑date with developments in AI, FinTech innovation and financial regulation.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of professional experience in AI/ML, data science, FinTech, RegTech or compliance technology within financial services.
• At least 3 years of training or facilitation experience with professional audiences.
• Strong understanding of FinTech business models such as Open Banking, digital payments, embedded finance, eKYC and platform/API ecosystems.
• Familiarity with RegTech tools, automated compliance, regulatory reporting and data‑privacy frameworks.
• Experience working with financial regulators, central banks or government‑linked institutions is a strong advantage.
• Excellent communication skills, able to explain technical and regulatory topics clearly to non‑technical audiences.
