Front Office Manager

About the role

The Front Office Manager leads all front‑office functions, ensuring seamless guest arrival and departure experiences while driving financial performance. This role oversees the Bell Staff, Switchboard Operations, Guest Services/Front Desk, and the Retail/Gift Shop, acting as the department head for day‑to‑day operations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach and supervise the Guest Services team, Bell staff, switchboard operators and retail personnel.
• Manage front‑desk operations, guest arrival/departure procedures, and ensure high standards of service.
• Develop and monitor performance, budget, and financial targets for the front office.
• Schedule staffing levels to meet operational and financial objectives.
• Maintain compliance with all front‑office policies and procedures.
• Control department expenses and drive cost‑saving initiatives.
• Communicate goals, performance expectations and recognize employee achievements.
• Collaborate with other departments to align front‑office activities with overall property goals.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED with at least 4 years of guest‑services or front‑desk experience, OR a 2‑year degree in Hotel & Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related field with at least 2 years of relevant experience.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, integrity and a results‑driven mindset.
• Proven ability to lead teams, manage daily operations and achieve financial targets.
