General Cashier – Finance (Jumeirah Muscat Bay)

About the role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a General Cashier – Finance to join Jumeirah Muscat Bay, a luxury resort located in Muscat, Oman. The role focuses on managing cash flow, processing payments and supporting the finance team in daily operations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily receipts and cash transactions (IOUs, expense claims, cash advances) ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
• Prepare and submit daily cash transaction reports to the Finance Manager for review.
• Verify transaction documentation and approvals before releasing payments.
• Control receipts from the Jumeirah Village Mini Market, produce sales reports and coordinate cash deposits with Transguard Services.
• Issue prepaid telephone cards to authorized staff and maintain audit‑ready distribution records.
• Maintain cheque control, release cheques daily, manage petty cash and handle visa/Salik/E‑Dirham accounts with correct departmental allocation.

Required profile

• High School Diploma (essential); Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accountancy or related field (desirable).
• 3–5 years of experience in a finance department, with proven cash handling and payment processing skills.
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established procedures.
