General Manager – Country Operations

About the role

The General Manager – Country Operations leads all manufacturing and delivery activities across the country, overseeing one or more sites and the full Order‑to‑Cash (OTC) execution spine from order intake to revenue recognition. The role holds full P&L responsibility and directs Operations, Supply Chain, QHSE, Project Management, Planning, and Support functions to ensure compliance, safety, and high‑performance standards.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end Order‑to‑Cash delivery, translating confirmed orders into on‑time, on‑cost, on‑quality shipments and revenue.
• Drive plant performance across all sites, managing production output, OEE, conversion cost, and resource utilisation.
• Lead preventive and corrective maintenance programs to minimise downtime and achieve Right‑First‑Time performance.
• Steer the country‑level S&OP process, aligning capacity planning, scheduling, and shop‑floor sequencing with global standards.
• Oversee procurement, inbound logistics, and warehousing, ensuring supply‑chain execution meets global guidelines.
• Develop and manage site CAPEX plans within approved thresholds, reporting to the COO.
• Implement continuous‑improvement initiatives, embedding 5S, standard work, and problem‑solving in daily operations.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in manufacturing or industrial operations with full P&L accountability.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple sites and cross‑functional teams (Operations, Supply Chain, QHSE, Project Management, Planning).
• Strong commercial acumen to translate orders into profitable delivery.
• Track record of driving operational efficiency, cost control, and working‑capital optimisation.
