General Manager – Ultra‑Luxury Resort

About the role

As General Manager of Six Senses Zighy Bay, you will lead an ultra‑luxury resort in a remote coastal setting, delivering highly personalized guest experiences while safeguarding the brand’s sustainability and wellness pillars. You will be responsible for aligning operations with Six Senses’ vision, values, and financial objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead overall resort operations and position the property as a benchmark ultra‑luxury destination in the Middle East.
• Drive villa‑based guest experiences, ensuring service excellence and adherence to brand standards.
• Foster an inclusive, high‑performing culture, attracting and retaining talent in a remote environment.
• Maintain commercial discipline, optimizing revenue through high ADR strategies, premium experiences, and wellness offerings.
• Oversee sales, marketing, and PR strategies to strengthen brand presence across GCC and international markets.
• Champion sustainability and regenerative practices, integrating Earth Lab initiatives and local sourcing into daily operations.
• Ensure compliance with legal, financial, health, safety, and regulatory requirements, including regional visa considerations.
• Build strong relationships with ownership and key stakeholders, aligning on performance and strategic direction.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in ultra‑luxury hospitality or resort management.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex, remote operations and multi‑disciplinary teams.
• Strong commercial acumen with a track record of driving revenue and cost efficiency.
• Deep commitment to sustainability, wellness, and culturally sensitive guest experiences.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, including ownership and local authorities.
