Food & Beverages Hostess

About the role

The Food & Beverages Hostess ensures every guest feels welcomed, comfortable and well‑served throughout their dining experience at Alila Jabal Akhdar. You will greet guests, manage reservations, and support smooth operations in both indoor and outdoor venues while upholding the resort’s luxury standards.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly, seat them, and manage the hostess desk to ensure prompt and courteous service.
• Handle reservations, coordinate party bookings and special requests according to SOPs.
• Serve food and beverages following the established sequence of service and maintain high hygiene and safety standards.
• Operate the POS and cashier systems, process payments and ensure accurate transaction handling.
• Assist colleagues across the F&B department, perform side duties such as restocking, cleaning and tray preparation.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years experience in food & beverage service.
• Flexible availability to work split shifts, weekends and outdoor conditions.
• Ability to lift and carry trays and work in varied weather.
• Punctual, presentable and consistently wear the correct uniform and name tag.

Required skills

• POS system operation.
• Cash handling.
• Good knowledge of the menu and beverage offerings.
