Room Attendant – Luxury Resort

About the role

Join the housekeeping team at a world‑class luxury resort and ensure every guest room meets the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation. You will work in a dynamic environment, supporting both routine cleaning and special guest requests.

Key responsibilities

• Clean and maintain all guest rooms according to the hotel’s Standard Operating Procedures.
• Follow health and safety guidelines, including proper use of cleaning chemicals.
• Manage linen, towel and uniform inventories and maintain accurate records.
• Process lost‑and‑found items and keep appropriate logs.
• Provide turn‑down service and respond to VIP or special guest requirements.
• Maintain cleanliness of floor pantries, service areas and housekeeping equipment.
• Report any damage, loss or security incidents promptly to management.
• Remove room‑service trays and place them in the service area.
• Participate in daily briefings, training sessions and sales‑related activities.
• Ensure waste minimisation and proper handling of amenities.

Required profile

• Previous experience in hotel housekeeping or a similar hospitality environment (preferred).
• Ability to follow detailed SOPs and maintain high standards of cleanliness.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to guest satisfaction.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team.

Required skills

• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and correct usage.
• Familiarity with housekeeping equipment and inventory management.
