Generative AI Engineer – Omani National

About the role

We are looking for a Generative AI Engineer (Omani National) to join our team and help build enterprise‑grade AI solutions. This early‑career position focuses on hands‑on implementation of large language models, retrieval‑augmented generation (RAG) pipelines, and prompt engineering under senior guidance.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in designing and developing RAG‑based Generative AI solutions for business use cases.
• Build Python services and APIs that integrate LLMs such as GPT or Llama.
• Support data preprocessing, embedding generation, and retrieval pipeline creation.
• Contribute to model packaging, deployment, and integration tasks.
• Debug, optimise, and improve existing AI pipelines while respecting production constraints (latency, cost, accuracy).
• Collaborate with senior engineers to learn best practices in MLOps, CI/CD, and cloud deployment.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science or a related field.
• 1–2 years of hands‑on experience with Python, APIs, Docker, and AI/ML model deployment (including academic projects or internships).
• Familiarity with embeddings, vector search, and LLM APIs (GPT, Llama).
• Ability to craft effective prompts and evaluate model outputs.
• Exposure to at least one end‑to‑end Generative AI or ML project.
