Head of Budgeting and Management Reporting

About the role

The Head of Budgeting and Management Reporting leads the organisation's financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and reporting activities. You will provide the financial insight needed for strategic decisions and ensure robust cost‑control across projects and operations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the financial planning, budgeting and management reporting processes for the company.
• Develop and maintain annual and monthly budgets, rolling forecasts and long‑term financial plans.
• Monitor capital‑expenditure (CapEx) budgets for projects and track operational expenditures.
• Perform variance analysis and deliver performance insights to senior management.
• Prepare management reports and financial dashboards for the executive team and board.
• Support strategic planning through detailed financial analysis and modelling.
• Coordinate budgeting inputs from operational departments and project teams.
• Ensure alignment between financial planning, accounting data and operational KPIs.
• Design and maintain cost‑control frameworks during construction and operational phases.
• Establish budgeting policies, procedures and cost‑accounting methodologies for farm operations.

Required profile

• University degree in Finance, Economics or Accounting.
• Professional certification such as CIMA (or equivalent) is an advantage.
• 7‑10 years of experience in FP&A, budgeting and financial analysis.
• At least 3 years of management experience in a similar senior role.
