Hospital Manager – Oman

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Hospital Manager to lead the day‑to‑day operations of a leading healthcare facility in Oman. The role demands strong GCC healthcare management experience and a proven track record in hospital administration, financial performance, and regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee overall hospital operations, ensuring coordination between clinical, nursing, administrative and support departments.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve efficiency, patient experience and service quality.
• Monitor performance indicators, patient satisfaction scores and quality metrics.
• Manage budgets, control expenses and optimise resource utilisation.
• Recruit, supervise and develop administrative and support staff.
• Ensure compliance with Oman Ministry of Health regulations, accreditation standards and internal policies.
• Lead quality‑assurance, patient‑safety, infection‑prevention and risk‑management programmes.
• Prepare regular management reports covering operational, financial and staffing data.
• Coordinate with medical leadership, insurers, suppliers and government authorities.
• Support business development, new service launches and hospital expansion initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Hospital Administration, Healthcare Management, Business Administration or related field.
• Significant GCC experience in hospital management or similar senior healthcare role.
• Demonstrated ability to drive operational performance and achieve financial targets.
• Strong knowledge of Oman health regulations and accreditation requirements.
