About the role
The Hostess greets guests, manages seating, and ensures a welcoming dining environment at a Sheraton hotel in Muscat. This full‑time position involves direct interaction with guests and supports the overall service standards of the restaurant.
Key responsibilities
- Greet guests, determine party size, and seat them at clean, available tables.
- Pull out chairs, place menus, and ensure each guest has a napkin, silverware, and other standard items.
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas throughout the shift, practicing clean‑as‑you‑go procedures.
- Monitor dining rooms for seating availability, safety, and guest well‑being.
- Follow company safety policies, report incidents, and complete required safety training.
Required profile
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- No prior related work experience required.
- No supervisory experience required.
