Housing & Accommodation Supervisor (Omani National)

About the role

The Housing & Accommodation Supervisor will join the People & Culture team at Mandarin Oriental Muscat, overseeing all aspects of employee housing and related services. This role ensures that housing operations run smoothly, within budget, and in compliance with local regulations while delivering the high‑standard experience expected by the hotel.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the People & Culture Manager with budgeting for housing, operating equipment and FF&E, and monitor monthly P&L performance.
• Control housing expenses, approve costs, and conduct regular financial analysis.
• Lead, train, evaluate and schedule housing staff, fostering a positive work environment.
• Organise pre‑arrival, onboarding and move‑in processes for new colleagues, including accommodation preparation, welcome packs and orientation.
• Coordinate flight bookings and ensure seamless arrival experiences.
• Allocate housing spaces according to Omani legislation, benefits level, family status, nationality, gender and ethical standards.
• Maintain housing inventories, key control, and asset management for colleague accommodation.
• Conduct regular team meetings, one‑on‑one sessions and attend People & Culture meetings.
• Perform apartment inspections and ensure compliance with standards.

Required profile

• Strong leadership and people‑management abilities.
• Excellent organisational and analytical skills.
• Ability to work within budgetary constraints and financial reporting.
• Knowledge of Omani housing legislation and ethical allocation practices.
• Effective communication skills for team meetings and stakeholder coordination.
