HSE Integrated Management System Specialist

About the role

The Specialist, HSE – IMS will be responsible for developing, maintaining and governing OQEP’s Health, Safety and Environment Integrated Management System (HSE IMS). Reporting to the Manager HSE Planning & Performance, the role ensures alignment with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 50001, legal requirements and industry best practices.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and continuously improve the HSE IMS across all OQEP assets and corporate functions.
• Coordinate identification, implementation and integration of applicable local, international and industry standards.
• Create, review, update and control HSE IMS documentation, including policies, procedures, guidelines, checklists, forms and records.
• Manage document distribution, retention and record‑keeping in line with the IMS Manual.
• Facilitate workshops, training sessions and awareness programmes to promote system adoption.
• Lead integration of the HSE IMS with Quality, Energy and other functional systems.
• Develop and maintain the annual internal and external audit programme and coordinate audit activities.
• Liaise with certification bodies, consultants, auditors and process owners to ensure certification readiness and continual improvement.

Required profile

• Proven experience in HSE management systems and integrated management system governance.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and ISO 50001 standards.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally with various business units and external stakeholders.
• Excellent documentation and record‑control skills.
• Experience planning and executing internal and external audits.
