HSE Supervisor – Oil & Gas Project

About the role

We are seeking an experienced HSE Supervisor to support a major oil & gas project in Oman, overseeing health, safety and environment activities at a fabrication yard and offshore sites.

Key responsibilities

• Promote and enforce project HSE policies, culture and objectives.
• Supervise HSE activities on fabrication and offshore operations.
• Conduct inspections, audits, toolbox talks, inductions and training sessions.
• Monitor Permit‑to‑Work compliance, risk assessments and emergency drills.
• Ensure safe execution of lifting, rigging, scaffolding, pressure testing and work‑at‑height tasks.
• Support incident investigations and follow‑up on corrective actions.
• Coordinate with EPC contractors and subcontractors to maintain high HSE standards.
• Participate in safety campaigns, workshops and management walkthroughs.

Required profile

• NEBOSH IGC or equivalent certification.
• 10+ years of HSE experience in oil & gas or construction projects.
• Strong background in Asian construction yards.
• Familiarity with rigging & lifting, PTW, working at height and scaffolding activities.
• Knowledge of API and oil & gas industry standards.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
• Experience working in multicultural project environments.
• Computer literate.
