HSSE Culture Expert

About the role

The HSSE Culture Expert will act as the organization’s subject‑matter authority on safety culture, human and organizational performance, and behavioral change. Working closely with executive leadership, line managers, employees and contractors, the role will embed safety as a core value and enhance operational resilience across all business activities.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement the HSSE Culture Transformation Roadmap aligned with the 2030 strategy.
• Establish a culture maturity model, set annual improvement targets and monitor progress.
• Lead design, rollout and sustainability of enterprise‑wide safety culture initiatives.
• Advise senior management on culture‑related risks, opportunities and improvement priorities.
• Benchmark organizational performance against leading international energy, petrochemical and high‑reliability organizations.
• Design and deliver the Safety Leadership Program for executives, senior managers and frontline leaders.
• Create leadership standards and expectations related to safety ownership and visibility.

Required profile

• Proven expertise in HSSE culture transformation within the oil & gas or related high‑risk sectors.
• Strong experience in leadership development, organizational learning and behavioral change.
• Ability to work collaboratively with senior executives, line management and diverse stakeholder groups.
• Excellent analytical and advisory skills to assess culture risks and drive improvement.
