HVAC AMC Sales Engineer – Retail

About the role

The HVAC AMC Sales Engineer will drive after‑market care (AMC) sales for air‑conditioning units across residential, commercial and industrial segments. The role focuses on delivering an excellent service experience while controlling operational costs.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and prospect new clients needing AMC for HVAC systems through cold calls, site visits and digital inquiries.
• Convert expired or inactive contracts into renewed AMC business by structured follow‑up and negotiation.
• Achieve monthly and quarterly AMC sales targets consistently.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key decision‑makers and facility managers, clearly presenting AMC benefits and terms.
• Handle escalations promptly, working with the service team to ensure SLA compliance.
• Own the full payment collection cycle, from invoicing to closure, and ensure zero aging beyond the credit period.
• Submit daily reports covering client meetings, leads, quotations, orders, collections and any operational delays.
• Gather market intelligence on competitor pricing and service gaps, suggesting improvements to AMC offerings.
