Infrastructures & Geospatial Engineer

About the role

The Infrastructures & Geospatial Engineer supports the planning, coordination and execution of infrastructure projects within the PODC. The Project Engineer ensures effective project management, technical compliance, QA/QC implementation and accurate survey management so that projects are delivered safely, in compliance and on time.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate infrastructure projects from initiation to close-out.
• Prepare and review tender technical documents and specifications, and take part in technical bid evaluations.
• Monitor contractor and consultant performance against approved drawings, specifications and contracts.
• Track schedules, milestones and deliverables to ensure timely completion.
• Carry out site, pre-inspection and final inspections to verify quality and compliance.
• Review and validate as-built drawings before project handover.
• Coordinate with internal departments, consultants and contractors to resolve technical and site issues, and maintain project documentation and records.
• Ensure compliance with HSE requirements.
• Supervise survey works including topographic, utility and benchmark surveys, and ensure QA/QC of survey data, drawings and reports.
• Use survey instruments such as GNSS/GPS, total station and digital levels, and check engineering drawings and quantities against survey data.
• Support development of survey guidelines and QA/QC procedures, and contribute to land development planning and infrastructure coordination in port and logistics areas.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Geospatial Engineering, Surveying, Civil Engineering or a related field, or as per the PODC minimum qualifications matrix.
• 0-2 years of relevant experience, or as per the minimum qualifications matrix.
• Basic business understanding.

• AutoCAD proficiency.
• Hands-on experience with GNSS/GPS, total station and leveling instruments.
• HSE knowledge in construction environments, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail.
