Inventory Manager – Automotive Parts

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Inventory Manager to join the Honda Parts team at OMASCO. The role ensures optimal stock levels, strong parts availability and drives inventory efficiency across the automotive spare‑parts business.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and manage inventory levels to balance availability with minimising aged and obsolete stock.
• Review order recommendations and place accurate orders with principals and suppliers.
• Monitor stock movement, months of stock, service levels and replenishment needs.
• Coordinate initial parts orders for new model launches.
• Support annual budget planning and track performance against targets.
• Manage parts pricing using pricing matrices, cost‑plus and model‑walk methods.
• Assist sales teams with pricing campaigns, bulk discounts and stock allocation.
• Process principal orders, coordinate shipments and meet customer requirements.
• Prepare MIS, principal and inventory performance reports.
• Act as a SAP power user – support system improvements, report design and end‑user training.
• Lead initiatives to liquidate ageing stock through pricing campaigns and write‑off proposals.

Required profile

• Strong experience in inventory management, procurement and automotive spare‑parts planning.
• Good understanding of parts pricing, stock control and aged‑stock reduction.
• Ability to work closely with principals, suppliers, sales, logistics and after‑sales teams.
