IT Business Analyst – Financial Systems Implementation

About the role

We are seeking an experienced IT Business Analyst to lead the implementation of financial platforms. The role bridges business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring solutions are delivered on time, integrated and optimized.

Key responsibilities

• Gather, analyse and document business requirements for financial system implementation projects.
• Partner with stakeholders to define scope, success criteria and process improvements.
• Translate business needs into functional and technical specifications for development teams.
• Support the full implementation lifecycle – design, testing, UAT, training and go‑live.
• Perform gap analysis, data mapping and integration validation for financial applications.
• Facilitate workshops, walkthroughs and status reporting.
• Collaborate with project managers, developers, QA and finance teams to ensure timely delivery.

Required profile

• 6+ years of experience as an IT Business Analyst, preferably in financial systems.
• Proven track record delivering full‑lifecycle implementation projects.
• Relevant certifications such as CBAP, PMI‑PBA or Agile/Scrum.
• Strong understanding of financial processes, accounting principles and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication and documentation skills.
