Junior HSE Officer – Entry Level

About the role

OHI Electronics is looking for a motivated junior HSE Officer to support a safe and compliant work environment. This entry‑level position is ideal for recent graduates or candidates with up to two years of HSE exposure who are eager to develop their safety expertise in a dynamic ELV solutions provider.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out routine site inspections, identify hazards and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
• Lead daily toolbox talks, verify proper use of personal protective equipment and promote safety awareness among on‑site personnel.
• Assist in investigating minor incidents and near‑misses, prepare initial reports and track follow‑up actions.
• Act as a liaison between site staff, contractors and management to communicate HSE policies.
• Maintain safety registers, emergency response plans, training logs and other HSE documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (any discipline) and Omani nationality in line with Omanisation requirements.
• Fresh graduate or up to two years of experience in HSE, internships, graduate training programmes or safety‑watcher roles.
• Basic knowledge of hazard identification and risk assessment.
• Fluent in written and spoken Arabic and English.
• Valid Omani driving licence preferred.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
