Lead HVAC Engineer

About the role

Lead HVAC Engineer role at Taqa Mate, based in Muscat, Oman. The engineer will act as the bridge between the company’s software platform and client‑site cooling infrastructure, ensuring energy‑efficient operation across multiple locations.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct deep‑dive analyses of diverse HVAC systems to identify inefficiencies and implement optimization strategies.
• Audit and evaluate existing cooling infrastructure at client sites for technical compatibility with the platform.
• Collaborate with the integration team to map physical HVAC operations to Building Management Systems (BMS).
• Serve as the primary technical point of contact for HVAC‑related issues, system health diagnostics, and post‑installation improvements.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of experience with a variety of HVAC systems.
• Strong background in both HVAC system design and daily operations.
• Proven experience working with Building Management Systems is a strong advantage.
