Maintenance Technician

About the role

We are looking for a full‑time Maintenance Technician to join our production facility in Sohar. You will be responsible for keeping a wide range of woodworking machinery and plant systems running smoothly, minimizing downtime and supporting our high‑volume manufacturing operations.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain, and repair various production equipment and mechanical systems.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues to restore equipment functionality quickly.
• Carry out preventive maintenance programmes to avoid unexpected breakdowns.
• Collaborate with the maintenance team to plan and execute corrective actions.
• Ensure all work follows company safety standards and maintenance protocols.

Required profile

• Technical diploma or equivalent in a related field.
• Experience in industrial maintenance, preferably in a wood‑manufacturing environment.
• Proven ability to work with heavy equipment and complex machinery.
• Strong understanding of safety regulations and maintenance best practices.
