Marketing Coordinator (Social Media)

About the role

The Marketing Coordinator assists the Assistant Director of Marketing and Communications in positioning and promoting Kempinski Hotel Muscat and its outlets as market leaders through marketing activities while ensuring compliance with the Kempinski brand. The role also covers social media content creation, photo and video editing and the monthly editorial plan.

Key responsibilities

• Provide administrative and secretarial support for the marketing office, including scheduling appointments, maintaining the filing system and handling phone calls.
• Create monthly social media content, edit photos and videos, write captions and run the monthly editorial plan.
• Handle daily correspondence and financial documents such as purchase orders and expense claims, and manage vendor invoices and billing enquiries.
• Support the Assistant Director in promotions, advertising, market analysis, photo shoots and video shoots, and help create the marketing plan.
• Maintain hotel listings in online and offline media, handle site inspections and keep a guest database for mailings.
• Coordinate with the F&B department on monthly promotions, liaise with sales, E-Commerce and digital teams and creative agencies, and attend marketing meetings.
• Conduct regular competition checks and benchmarking, and create office presentations and give-aways and collateral.
• Upload and maintain picture storage and distribution systems, provide content and images for websites according to corporate identity, and keep third-party website content up to date.
• Keep corporate marketing guidelines updated and share them with colleagues.
