Mechanical Engineer – Crusher Plant

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Engineer to lead the installation, operation and maintenance of a crusher plant for a port project in Oman. The role focuses on ensuring equipment reliability, performance optimisation and efficient material processing.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise the installation of crushing systems (primary and secondary crushers), feeders, screens, auxiliary equipment and conveyors.
• Ensure all works comply with design specifications and relevant standards.
• Review and witness installation procedures, testing and commissioning activities.
• Coordinate with the Mine Engineer to align production targets and integrate systems.
• Identify, troubleshoot and resolve mechanical defects and interface issues.
• Participate in performance testing and validation.
• Prepare and hand over as‑built drawings, operation & maintenance manuals and other documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (or Mining Engineering).
• Minimum 10 years of experience in industrial, mining or bulk material handling projects.
• Proven experience supervising installation and commissioning of crusher plants.

Required skills

• Crushing systems (primary & secondary).
• Feeders and screening equipment.
• Conveyor and bulk material handling systems.
