NDT Level III – Offshore Hydrocarbon Inspection

About the role

The NDT Level III specialist will lead the development, qualification and approval of non‑destructive testing procedures for offshore hydrocarbon projects. Working on‑site in Sohar, Oman, you will ensure all inspections meet the highest industry standards and customer requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, qualify, and approve NDT procedures in line with ASME, AWS, ASTM and other relevant codes.
• Demonstrate and validate PAUT and TOFD blocks according to client specifications.
• Review inspection reports, certificates and ensure data accuracy.
• Train, supervise and mentor Level I and II NDT technicians.
• Maintain and audit quality manuals and NDT documentation.
• Resolve day‑to‑day site issues in coordination with the client.
• Conduct technical audits, witness monitoring and provide corrective actions for non‑conformances.
• Interpret data and prepare comprehensive inspection reports.

Required profile

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (DME) or equivalent.
• 5–15 years of experience in non‑destructive testing, preferably in offshore or hydrocarbon environments.
• Proven ability to lead teams and manage complex NDT projects.
