Network Engineer – Design, Implementation & Support

About the role

The Network Engineer will design, implement and maintain the company’s network infrastructure, ensuring reliable connectivity and optimal performance for all business units. This short‑term contract position is based in Muscat with the possibility of evolving into a permanent role.

Key responsibilities

• Configure and manage routers, switches, firewalls and other network devices.
• Monitor network performance and proactively address issues.
• Identify and resolve connectivity, security and troubleshooting incidents.
• Support network upgrades, architecture changes and documentation.
• Implement and maintain VPNs, access controls and security policies.

Required profile

• Multiple valid Ruckus Wireless certifications (e.g., RCWA, RCNI, RAWD, RONE, RICXI).
• Strong background in network engineering, design and infrastructure planning.
• Experience with enterprise networking, cloud or hybrid environments and network monitoring tools.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
