Network & Scheduling Analyst

About the role

The Network & Scheduling Analyst will support Oman Air in developing and optimizing its flight schedule. You will provide data‑driven insights, prepare business case recommendations, and manage charter operations while collaborating with internal teams and external authorities.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare management recommendations for network planning and optimisation, including new route business cases and performance analysis.
• Support the creation and maintenance of published and operational flight schedules, ensuring alignment with fleet availability, network strategy, airport constraints and regulatory requirements.
• Manage the end‑to‑end charter flight process, coordinating with Commercial, Flight Operations, Engineering, Ground Operations, Legal and Finance.
• Assist in the preparation, submission and monitoring of airport slot requests in line with IATA Worldwide Airport Slot Guidelines.
• Support applications for landing permits, overflight permits and traffic rights, liaising with regulatory authorities and ground handling agents.
• Contribute to continuous process improvement and automation initiatives.

Required profile

• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
• Experience or knowledge of airline network planning, flight scheduling and charter management.
• Familiarity with IATA slot guidelines and aviation regulatory processes.
• Excellent coordination skills to work with multiple internal departments and external stakeholders.
• Detail‑oriented and capable of producing clear, actionable reports.
