Omani Graduate Development Programme

About the role

SalamAir offers a one-year Omani Graduate Development Programme in Muscat, designed to give young Omani professionals practical experience, structured learning and exposure to different areas of the aviation business. Selected candidates train and work in different functions before being appointed to a defined department after the year, depending on the knowledge, skills and experience they have gained.

Key responsibilities

• Gain hands-on experience in the assigned department and support day-to-day business activities and departmental projects
• Take part in structured training and professional development programmes
• Work closely with experienced professionals and subject-matter experts
• Participate in cross-functional projects and initiatives
• Learn SalamAir's operations, culture, policies and business objectives
• Contribute ideas and recommendations to improve processes and customer experience
• Prepare reports, presentations, analysis and other business deliverables as required
• Take part in performance reviews and development assessments throughout the programme

Required profile

• Omani national with a bachelor's degree in commerce, business/aviation/operations management, sales, finance/accounting, computer engineering/science, human resources or a similar major
• Good command of English and Arabic, written and spoken
• Strong communication, analytical and problem-solving skills, and a willingness to learn
• Team player with a positive attitude, adaptability and a strong sense of responsibility

Required skills

• Digital literacy: basic proficiency in Microsoft Office and willingness to learn new digital tools
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and the use of AI at work
