Origination Executive – Trade Finance (Muscat)

About the role

Origination at Mamun is a field‑led position based in Muscat, working directly with owners and finance teams of Oman's importers, exporters, distributors, manufacturers, contractors and logistics operators. The role also spans the Gulf‑Asia corridor, collaborating with strategic partners in Abu Dhabi, Hong Kong and across the UAE and Asia.

Key responsibilities

• Engage with clients on‑site to understand their trade flows and provide tailored financing solutions.
• Leverage Mamun’s proprietary trade‑data layer and AI‑assisted document intake to qualify prospects before meetings.
• Originate deals while a dedicated credit team reviews and decides on financing.
• Coordinate post‑execution onboarding, verification and collections through dedicated owners.
• Report to the Chief Commercial Officer and maintain accurate CRM updates and same‑day reporting.

Required profile

• 3–10+ years of B2B field sales, territory sales or account management experience serving Omani SMEs and mid‑size businesses.
• Proven track record of winning and retaining customers, not just sending proposals.
• Strong understanding of trade documents (invoices, purchase orders, shipping paperwork) and ability to converse with accountants and owners.
• Fluent English; Arabic or other regional languages are a plus.
• Own car, valid Omani driving licence, and willingness to travel throughout Oman and regionally.
• Disciplined use of CRM with same‑day reporting; lead‑level candidates should have experience managing a small sales team.
