PBX Agent / Telephone Operator (Seasonal)

About the role

The PBX Agent/Telephone Operator will be the first voice guests hear when they call the hotel. Working in the PBX team at Mandarin Oriental Muscat, you will ensure smooth communication flow, respond promptly to guest inquiries, and support emergency communications.

Key responsibilities

• Answer incoming calls with a warm, professional tone and route them to the appropriate department.
• Anticipate and address individual guest needs, providing accurate information and follow‑up.
• Distribute emails, alerts and messages quickly during emergency situations.
• Communicate corporate and hotel policies, SOPs and code‑of‑conduct requirements to colleagues.
• Support HR strategic policies, learning and development activities, and safeguard stored information.

Required profile

• Omani national, available for a seasonal assignment.
