Personal Banker – North Ash Sharqiyah

About the role

The Personal Banker will be the primary point of contact for customers in the North Ash Sharqiyah branch, driving sales of retail banking products and delivering high‑quality service. This role blends relationship management with sales targets, ensuring new and existing customers receive tailored banking solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Promote and sell a full range of retail banking products, including deposits, loans, credit cards, e‑banking, investment schemes and Takaful.
• Achieve assigned sales targets for products and services within the branch.
• Open and maintain customer accounts, ensuring all documentation complies with credit policies and operational procedures.
• Respond to customer enquiries, converting inquiries into sales and fostering long‑term relationships.
• Make outbound calls to existing and prospective customers to generate new business.
• Assist tellers during peak periods and support branch operations as directed.
• Participate in recovery activities, including skip‑tracing and restructuring of non‑performing assets.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree.
• Omani national.
• Strong knowledge of bank products, services, policies and procedures.
• Sales‑oriented with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Flexible and tactful approach to customer interactions.

Required skills

• Familiarity with banking systems and PC operations.
