Planning Engineer – Construction

About the role

We’re hiring a Planning Engineer to join our construction team and support the successful planning, monitoring, and delivery of residential and commercial projects in Muscat, Oman.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, develop, and maintain project baseline schedules using Primavera P6 and MS Project.
• Monitor project progress and regularly update schedules.
• Conduct delay and time‑impact analyses and support EOT claims.
• Prepare look‑ahead schedules, histograms, and S‑curves.
• Track critical activities and highlight potential risks, delays, and bottlenecks.
• Coordinate with project teams, consultants, and subcontractors.
• Prepare progress reports for management and clients.
• Support tender planning, resource planning, and project close‑out documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• 7–10 years of relevant experience in construction planning and scheduling.
• Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, sequencing, resources, and productivity.
• Experience in delay analysis, claims, and EOT preparation is preferred.
• Oman or GCC construction experience is preferred; candidates currently available in Oman will be given preference.
