Plant Operator & Shift Supervisor – Wastewater Treatment

About the role

New Alfa International is seeking experienced Plant Operators and Shift Supervisors to join a leading wastewater treatment plant in Muscat, Oman. The role ensures safe, efficient and continuous operation of the plant’s industrial processes, supporting both day‑to‑day activities and shift hand‑overs.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and control wastewater treatment processes to meet performance and quality standards.
• Perform routine plant maintenance and troubleshoot equipment failures.
• Supervise shift teams, ensuring compliance with safety and operational procedures.
• Maintain accurate logs, reports and hand‑over documentation.
• Coordinate with engineering and external contractors for planned maintenance and upgrades.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of experience in wastewater treatment, industrial operations or plant maintenance.
• Technical Diploma or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong understanding of industrial safety and shift‑based work environments.
• Ability to analyse process data and make timely decisions.
