Principal Rotating Equipment Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a seasoned Rotating Equipment professional to provide technical leadership across LNG operations and projects. The role ensures the integrity, reliability, and effective maintenance of critical rotating assets while driving engineering best practices.

Key responsibilities

• Lead rotating equipment engineering activities for capital projects, expansions, and brownfield modifications.
• Manage technical evaluations, project interfaces, vendor selection, FAT/SAT, and contractor performance.
• Develop and implement maintenance and engineering best practices for rotating equipment.
• Conduct complex investigations, troubleshooting, and failure analysis.
• Initiate reliability and safety improvement projects.
• Support P&ID reviews, SIL assessments, and HAZOP studies.
• Act as deputy SME for Rotating Equipment Engineering.
• Manage critical spare‑parts requirements and inventory.
• Ensure compliance with technical standards, HSSE requirements, and QA/QC processes.

Required profile

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 10 years of rotating equipment experience in LNG or Oil & Gas.
• Technical Authority Level 3.
• Proven experience in execution, engineering, construction, commissioning, or management of major industrial projects.
• Preferred background in Oil & Gas, LNG, or the broader energy sector.
